Kings & Queens

The brief here was pretty simple. I took a Polaroid picture of people wearing a cheap king or queen crown I bought at a costume shop, standing in front of a white wall or backdrop. I told them they could be king or queen of whatever they wanted, and asked them to write what they were king or queen of on the front of the Polaroid. I didn’t let people see what others had done until they had finished their own because I did not want people influenced by what others before them had done.
